To me, companionship defines marriage. Its more than just role-playing.

I should be able to look up to the guy. Should be able to say once in a while, You inspire me.

Mutual respect. To be able to speak one's mind without the fear of being judged, ridiculed. That's an open and healthy relation.

Space. That we can give ample of, to each other.
Trust. Understanding.
Sensibility.
To be able to give without much thought.
